Michael Holtzman received his BS in Restaurant Management from California Polytechnic University in
Centers and Ski Resorts by coaching and directing in the areas of restaurant design, customer service, sales and profitability. He has worked with over 350 facilities in 42 states and numerous countries across the globe. We understand the challenges of opening and operating all different types of restaurants and multi use facilities.
In the summer of 2009, Mike traveled to Dubai and worked on Greg Normans 140,000 square foot Club House. The club house has a total of fourteen kitchens, bars, and restaurants.
In the summer of 2007 Michael founded Backyard Grille. In 2009 Backyard Grille serviced over 600,000 attendees and sports park participants. The operation keeps the team connected to the true needs of running a successful food and beverage operations. In 2009 he had over 200 employees, 9 site managers, accounting department and 3 regional managers.
Michael Holtzman, has been at Invitational speaking engagements. He has trained an estimated 10,000 participants so far. He won speaker of the year with World Waterpark Association and Supplier of the year 2009. The speaking engagement includes the following organizations:
